Kitty is free on every device.
Same app, same budgets: use it on the web, put it on your iPhone home screen, or install the Android app. Invite links work across all of them, so a couple on iPhone and Android can share one budget.
🍎 iPhone & iPad Free
- Open juw12.github.io/projects/kitty in Safari.
- Tap Share , then Add to Home Screen.
- Open Kitty from your home screen. It runs full-screen like any app and keeps working offline.
You're already using Kitty from the home screen. 🎉
Prefer a native iPhone build?
There's a free unsigned .ipa of the Kitty app (it opens the same live site, with native share and haptics). Install it with AltStore or Sideloadly using a free Apple ID; Apple makes you re-sign free installs every 7 days. An App Store listing needs a paid Apple Developer account.
🤖 Android Free
- Tap Download for Android below (a signed
.apk, about 4 MB). - Open the file. If asked, allow your browser to install unknown apps.
- Tap Install, then open Kitty. Future web updates arrive automatically.
The Android build is on its way. Until then, open Kitty in Chrome and tap ⋮ → Add to Home screen. It installs as an app with the same features, and you can switch to the APK later without losing data that you have shared.
Native share sheet, haptic warnings and the Back button all work in the app. It's signed with the same key on every release, so updates install over the top.
💻 Computer Free
- Open juw12.github.io/projects/kitty in any modern browser.
- In Chrome or Edge, click Install in the address bar (or the button below) to get a desktop window.
- Your data stays on this device until you share a budget, and shared budgets are end-to-end encrypted.
No account, no ads, no subscription. Kitty is a free portfolio project by Juwen Lie. Source on GitHub, and every Android/iPhone build is made by GitHub Actions from that code (releases).
