Mint Open in browser

Mint is free on every device.

One app for your shared budgets and your spreadsheet templates: download it for Windows, Mac or Android, put it on your iPhone home screen, or use it in any browser. Invite links work across all of them, so a family on different devices can share one budget.

🪟 Windows 10 & 11 Free

  1. Tap Download for Windows and open Mint-Windows-Setup.exe.
  2. Press Install (no admin rights needed). If Windows says it protected your PC, choose More info → Run anyway: the app is free and not code-signed yet.
  3. Open Mint from the Start menu. The first time, pick your language and region.
Download for Windows No install: portable .zip

🍏 Mac Free

  1. Download the version for your Mac's chip (Apple menu → About This Mac shows Chip for Apple or Processor for Intel).
  2. Open the .dmg and drag Mint to Applications.
  3. The first time, macOS blocks it because it isn't notarized yet: open System Settings → Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway.

🍎 iPhone & iPad Free

  1. Open juw12.github.io/projects/mint in Safari.
  2. Tap Share , then Add to Home Screen.
  3. Open Mint from your home screen. It runs full-screen like any app, and your budgets keep working offline.

An App Store listing needs a paid Apple Developer account, so the home-screen app is the iPhone version for now.

🤖 Android Free

  1. Tap Download for Android below (a signed .apk, about 3 MB).
  2. Open the file. If asked, allow your browser to install unknown apps.
  3. Tap Install, then open Mint and pick your language and region. New features arrive automatically.

In the app, backups, CSV files and result cards open the share sheet, so you can save them to Files or Drive.

No account needed for budgets, no ads, no subscription. Mint is a free portfolio project by Juwen Lie. Source on GitHub; the Windows, Mac and Android apps are built from that code and checked on each system before release (release). Your data stays on your device until you share a budget, and shared budgets are end-to-end encrypted.
